Women’s Bible Study
At TCC we believe that every Christian is called to delight, declare, and display the gospel in all of life. We know that before we can declare or display the gospel that we must delight in the gospel. One of the primary ways that fuels our delight in God is by taking the Bible seriously. To take the Bible seriously is to not only read the Word but to know, linger, savor, and study the Word until it effortlessly overflows into all of life. We want to be a people who know God’s Word unto obedience. One avenue we utilize for pursuing delight in the gospel is Women’s Bible Study. We currently offer Women’s Bible Study in the winter and summer,
This winter, we are starting a Women’s Bible Study on Titus. Over the course of four weeks, we will work through the whole book digging deep to find out the themes, applications, and character of who God is.
The Bible study is structured to help remove the scariness of studying Scripture. We want to help you build simple skills of reading→ comprehending→ understanding → interpreting → applying Scripture to your life. We will do this by providing a double spaced copy of the text, Bible Study Binder, and the Women of the Word book and bookmark. We will outline the following plan below and provide copies of the “homework” for you to complete each week before the session. Once you register, we will reach out to you and provide you with a full binder, copy of Women of the Word book and bookmark.
When you register, we ask you to pick 1 supplemental study book to purchase on Amazon to help you dig in more deeply. You can find find the supplemental resources for purchase (will be updated at a later date), breakdown of the sessions, link to register, and all the details below:

Studying the Passage
Day 1: Read the passage for comprehension. Read it all the way through at least once. Maybe consider listening to it while driving or doing a household chore. By the end of the day, try to see if you can summarize the passage.
Day 2-3: Dig into the passage by asking observation questions from the Women of the Word book mark. What do you notice? After you’ve tried your hand at answering some of the questions without help, turn to a supplemental study resource of your choice to dig a little deeper.
Day 4: Turn to interpretation questions after uncovering what the text is saying.
Day 5: Ask the Lord to show you what it means by asking application questions.
